Aidex GmbH develops business software that is used for building management and human resource administration. Thanks to StepOver’s e-signature solution all receipts for checking out keys and other materials have now been fully digitized.
Process prior integration
The old process required the creation of paper receipts. All handover protocols had to be printed out, signed, filed or even scanned in again. This manual process is time-consuming and the handling was cumbersome.
The new process with the electronic signature
Since the implementation of the StepOver e-signature solution, the process has been fully digitized. The Aidex ‘Key Organizer’ management software generates the receipts as PDF documents. The documents are then displayed to the user on the signature pads and digitally signed. The signed PDF is automatically archived in the Aidex software and can be easily retrieved at any time, ensuring efficient and secure document management.
Handling the signature pads and the eSignatureOffice software requires only minimal input from users. This speeds up the process and increases user satisfaction. In addition, the elimination of paper means a significant reduction of the environmental impact and operating costs.
Jörg Rosenthal from Aidex about StepOver
Due to the significant improvements and easy integration, Aidex GmbH recommends StepOver’s solutions to other companies. Jörg Rosenthal from Aidex says: ‘We have purchased signature pads from four different manufacturers in recent years. Only StepOver has made a positive impression on us. The StepOver signature pads are modern, durable and made in Stuttgart, Germany. If you still need support, they are always happy to help. And the StepOver signing software (eSignatureOffice) is the only one that can be configured by our program so that the process is completed in two clicks. That’s why we only resell StepOver products as our signature solution.’
Outlook
Aidex plans to digitize further business processes and extend the use of the StepOver signature solution to further areas within the business. The development of new case management software, which also benefits from the integration of StepOver technology, is already planned.
