Travis Perkins is rolling out StepOver's electronic signature solution nationwide
The UK’s largest builders’ merchant has completed a full digital signature rollout for tradespeople to use when making purchases across its entire branch network, further enhancing the ease with which customers can purchase materials.
Travis Perkins has introduced the new electronic proof of collection (ePOC) system into its network of over 500 branches after partnering with digital signature solutions specialists StepOver, utilising its duraSign 5.0 Signature Pad. It means any customers with a Travis Perkins account will be able to sign electronically for proof of collection when buying materials, before being able to access their digital invoices through the existing Invevo system. As well as saving customers time when entering a branch, the rollout will deliver major sustainability enhancements for Travis Perkins, with an expected saving of in excess of 15 million sheets of paper per year.
David Maddison, Project Manager at Tarvis Perkins, said: “We are constantly looking at different methods that we can introduce to make the customer journey even more seamless and we are delighted to have worked with StepOver to roll this enhancement out across the entire branch network. We’ve had the StepOver EPOC solution in place in 40 branches for a few years and ran an extended trial to a further 25 branches earlier this year. The results were excellent and meant the decision to provide this service in every branch was an easy one to make.”
The system has also been introduced at all Benchmarx Kitchens & Joinery and Travis Perkins Managed Services branches.
