Functionality
With the NG Pad Feature Extension for our nextGen signature pad series (duraSign Pad NG 10 & nextGen Pad 5), users can enter and edit form content directly on the signature pad. This transforms the tried-and-true signature pad into an interactive input device for digital documents.
Features
- Fill in the text fields: All required information is entered directly on the pad. Text fields can also be used as required fields, which helps prevent incomplete forms and reduces the need for follow-up questions.
- Enable radio buttons: Selection fields can be operated intuitively with a stylus.
- Checking boxes: Declarations of consent or other legally relevant consents—such as those regarding data protection or contract terms—are documented immediately.
- Using drop-down menus: Structured selection fields are also fully integrated into the digital input process.
Integration
- Using Predefined Templates: Standardized forms can be easily prepared and used directly on the pad.
- Data Transfer via XML: Information from existing IT systems can be automatically imported into the forms. Changes made by the user on the tablet can then be retrieved directly from the XML file.
- Pre-filling by the back end: Forms can be pre-filled in the background using existing data from CRM, ERP, or line-of-business applications.
- Corrections and additions by the signatory: Existing information can be reviewed directly on the pad, corrected if necessary, or supplemented with additional details. This ensures that the data is always up-to-date and accurate.
Flexible Licensing
The NG Pad Feature Extension can be purchased at the time of purchase or licensed at a later date. All that’s needed for later activation is a firmware update, so existing devices can be easily upgraded.
