Functionality
The free StepOver Offfice plugin captures the typeface of a signature with a StepOver signature pad and inserts this image into a Word or Excel document.
Variants
The free StepOver Office plugin is available in two versions:
- Office Plugin (Standard): Diese Variante ist mit den klassischen StepOver-Signaturpads kompatibel, darunter naturaSign Pad Classic, duraSign Pad 4.3, duraSign Pad 5.0 und duraSign Pad 10.0.
- NextGen Office Plugin: This version supports the NextGen series of signature pads, including the nextGen Pad 5 and duraSign Pad NG 10.
Security
A simple electronic signature has only limited evidentiary value. Documents that are not legally binding (e.g., form letters) can be signed using the StepOver Office plugin. However, for a legally binding signature, we recommend one of our other solutions, such as eSignatureOffice or webSignatureOffice.

The Office plugin is suitable for creating a simple electronic signature (EES).
